Audience participation - what are you reading?

First, I just have to say - how the heck did it get to be October so fast?!?! That's craziness!!!

Anyway, back to audience participation! Leave me a comment and let me know what you are reading right now and what's next on your To Be Read pile!!

And now, something totally off topic... I found this terribly stereotypical librarian-ish picture of me from a while ago... Notice I'm re-reading one of the Harry Potters, and for some reason I have another pair of glasses on my head - HAHA!

This question depresses me. I am too busy to read right now. But, sitting on the shelf waiting is The 6th Horseman by James Patterson, Prep by too lazy to get up and look, and I see a 3rd book there but again too lazy to look.

What a cute picture!!! I am about finished with Lauren Willig's Masque of the Black Tulip, the 2nd in her series. I am really enjoying it!!!

You are fabulous. I love the classic two-pairs-of-glasses look. ;)

Right now I'm reading "Mother Teresa: A Simple Path", which is a collection of quotes and short writings about Mother Teresa, compiled by Lucinda Vardey. I was really excited to start reading it, but I actually don't think it's very well done. Isn't that sad?

Love the picture! I just finished Obama's book this past weekend, and even re-read part of it to DH while we were driving. I *REALY* like him ;) and I'd encourage you to read the book.

I'm reading "the Mystery Keeper's Daughter" - so far it's a great book, a little serious and kinda sad but a great book. Was a #1 seller

I picked up Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, because I wanted a light read. I only read the first few pages, but I expect I'm going to love it!

Oh and I just finished Life of Pi, and while that had nothing to do with the mathematical pi, I loved it!

Just started "A Spot of Bother" by Mark Haddon. I loved "The Curious Incident of the Dog in Nighttime" so I have high hopes for this!

Anyway...about to finish The Places In Between about Rory Stewart's walk through Afghanistan in 2002...loving it. I'm in the middle of Suite Francaise and for some reason can't finish it...good book but a little too serious for me right now. And I just started The Great Man...we'll see how it goes :)

Hi! Just found your blog -- I love it! I am a teacher and I am reading Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life for my 6th grade literature groups. Before that, I read Twilight which is a YA that was suggested by a teacher friend. The last "adult" book I read was Davinci Code -- just finished it last week. My TBR book is The Other Boleyn Girl -- hope to start that sometime this week.
