Dear Library Patron,
I realize there is nothing more important to you than hearing whatever song is on your friends MySpace page. I also realize that hearing the music while you watch Akon's latest video is imperative to whole video experience.
However, if *I* can hear the music coming out of your headphones while I am 10 feet away from you, the music is PROBABLY too loud.
Don't get me wrong, I like a good song with a killer bass line and booty shakin' hoochies in the video just as much as the next hottie librarian, but the guy sitting next to you (you know, the one in the suit and tie browsing CNN.com) doesn't look too enthused about being able to FEEL your music.
So, if you don't mind helping me out a little, I'd appreciate it.
Oh, and by the way, next time your cell phone rings, you might want to take your headphones off to answer it. I don't think holding the phone up to your headphones which are still attached to your ears will allow you to hear the caller. However, the person on the other end will still be able to hear you just fine, so you probably don't have to scream "HELLO!!" five times into the phone.
Thank you,
Your friendly neighborhood librarian.

OMG some people!!!
And this is why I avoid libraries... you know the only reason that guy was there was because he doesn't have internet at home... It's sad that people don't even go to libraries for books anymore. :(
Your stories never cease to amaze me, KS!
