A Saturday marathon

So, you have heard me talk about Fabulous Movies Real's Never Seen Night with my good friend "A". Every Tuesday I tell you what the latest feature for FMRNS will be.

Anyway, on occasion, we find it necessary to have a movie marathon! Once in a while, we pick a random Saturday, and we watch movies ALL DAY. Oh, and we eat. It's seriously awesome!

We've watched quite a few things in our marathon sessions. We got through the entire series of Six Feet Under in 5 Saturdays (one season per Saturday!). We always checked those DVDs out from the library (YES! Your library just might check out SEASONS of TV on DVD!!! The library is COOL!!!), and we would wait (very impatiently) until the next season was released, watch it in it's entirety in ONE DAY, and then have to wait (VERY impatiently) until the NEXT season was released.

Our newest TV on DVD obsession is Weeds. Though we didn't watch this one in a marathon session, we did just finish the second season. If you haven't watched this series, go check it out - it is hilarious! And I LOVE the tag line: "A comedy series about dealing in the suburbs."

Anyway, back to the marathon. Today, we are watching Tales of the City, starring Olympia Dukakis. But it's not just Tales of the City! We are also watching More Tales of the City and Further Tales of the City!

While the TV DVD seasons were not officially on the list of Fab Movies I've Never Seen, the Tales of the City are. Let the marathon begin!!!

What a great way to catch up on TV shows that I've never seen.....or missed the last of like SATC and Six Feet Under. Now if only I didn't have to spend all my free time studying for my stupid class!
