Fabulous Wednesday!!

Have I told you how much I love being back in the swing of things? Story time is AWESOME, movie night is AWESOME, and being back in Nashville? AWESOME!!!

So, it's story time day today! In honor of the season, I decided to do books about Fall!

And of course, since it's Wednesday, it's FMRNS night!! WHOOT WHOOT!!! I'm not terribly excited for tonight's feature, however. It's a horror film, and I am just not a fan. I mean, every horror we have watched has been FABULOUS (hence Fabulous Movies Real's Never Seen), but still, I probably wouldn't watch a horror movie if it were not for the FMRNS Movie Education. Anyway, tonight's feature is Alien Resurrection from 1997, starring Sigourney Weaver and Winona Ryder.


Let's hope I get through it!!

The new Tuesday

Remember when I used to go on and on about how Tuesdays were the best day ever? This was because Tuesdays were the day I had my pre-school story time and then went to my friend A’s for FMRNS. Well, Wednesday is the new Tuesday!!

My new pre-school story time is now on Wednesday mornings, and it just so happens that Wednesday is also the best night to continue FMRNS!!! Seriously, you can’t get any better than that.

Even though I just started my job on Monday, I thought I would jump right in to doing story time this week. I found some great books about Ducks that we had available in my own library and set forward planning my first story time.

And, since Wednesday is now the new Tuesday, A and I had FMRNS!!! WHOOOT WHOOOOOT!!! We decided to watch Mel Gibson's 2006 film Apocalypto with Rudy Youngblood.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially ready to spill the beans, and tell you what I have been dying to tell you!!!

I am officially a REAL LIBRARIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOT WHOOOOOOOT!!!!! I was offered and accepted a position as a Children's Librarian. And do you want to know the best part?!?!

I'm BACK IN NASHVILLE, BABY!!!!!!!

Seriously, it couldn't get any better than this. This job isn't just "A" job...it's "THE" job!!! I am so excited to be back in Nashville, and SO excited to be a Real Librarian for REAL!!!

So, there will be story time posts, and FMRNS movie posts, and patron stories, and all that good fun stuff! I can't wait to share it all with you!!!

I have to apologize for my lack of posting lately. I have had a lot of "life" stuff going on lately, and just haven't been able to pay much attention to the blog...
